Shiver me timbers me maties!
Not long till the wedding now. Remember to bring ye pirate garb, some food for the BBQ an’ ye swimming suit. Get to Spanish Point Boat Club for about 4:30/4:45 on Saturday.
The running order be the following:
4:30pm Guests arrive. Make sure ye have brought yer food and put it on the tables in the hall. The Captain be nervously plain’ music wiv his mates before…
5:00pm Lori begins walking down the aisle. She arrives by boat. Make sure ye cheer loudly!
5:05pm Wedding Ceremony. Make sure ye know the wedding hymn We_have_an_Anchor It be a bit different, in the minor key.
5:40pm Salty Minnows sing. The Salty Minnows will be singing “Over the Sea” and “Lionfish”. They be small an’ need lots of encouragement!
5:50pm Photos. There will be quite a lot of photos on site with the wreck in the background. We will start wiv group photos of everybody. This may go a bit longer than expected, ye can never tell wiv the photos.
6:15pm First Dance. Watch the first dance before we receive everybody at the Moongate. It be choreographed by Adrian Kawaley-Lathan.
6:20pm Receiving line at the Moongate. Ye be received at the Moongate. There may be a long line so take yer time and we suggest ye get an Ice Cream at the Ice Cream Van, especially if ye have kiddies. Before ye enter the hall. can ye please sign the Guest Book. We have a red ink parrot quill so ye may want to practice writing wiv one first! Make sure ye write yer address an’ email so we can keep in touch!
6:20pm Grub. Eat food at the BBQ and eat salads an’ desserts provided by everyone.
7:30pm Speeches of Eight. There will be a few short speeches. Eight minutes or less.
8:00pm Surprise
8:30pm Songs with the Captain an’ friends including the bride requested 80’s dance party!
9:00pm Rockfire fire dancing.
9:20pm Sonique Sanctuary play their set
11:30pm The Captain an’ his bride leave
11:40pm Party on! (if ye are still awake!)
