Disclaimer: I am not a gamer but I have seen my brother and friends play WOW so I do recognize some of the nostalgic icons in the movie.
I was surprised that this movie actually had a plot. What it was missing was the character that didn’t know anything. In order the an audience that has no background of WOW the questioning person would have helped with some points in the film. Personally I don’t like everything being spells out for me. I enjoyed going along for the ride.
I recommend seeing Warcraft because it has action, a plot, really seamless special effects, and It has strong characters.
